Creedite

Known for its beautiful prismatic crystals, often radiating outward from a central axis, Creedite is named for the place of its initial discovery, the Creede Quadrangle in Colorado. Creedite is a rare mineral in the hydoxylhalide group and is often formed from the intense oxidation of fluorite formations. Only known from a relatively small number of formations worldwide, Creedite is sought after for its unique fine crystalline structure.
