Chrysocolla

Occurring in spectacular shades of deep green, turquoise, and powder blue, Chrysocolla is unique mineral prized as a precious stone since antiquity for use in jewelry as well as in goldsmithing. Chrysocolla is in the copper family, its color formed from the oxidation of copper and it is typically found in spherical (botryoidal) or rounded formations, often with intricate patterns and shapes.
