Amber Calcite

Calcite is one of the most plentiful minerals on earth, occurring in many forms and color shades. Amber calcite is rich gold in color with hues of yellow and deep brown. Its crystalline structure and transparency make it quite variable in color depending on lighting conditions and no two pieces express the exact same shades. Amber Calcite specimens from Dachang mine in Southwestern China are known for their unique intricate crystals and exceptional deep amber color.
